Why We Started AI Explorers
We founded AI Explorers Summer Camp because we believe in the incredible creativity, resilience, and potential of the children growing up in El Paso.
As part of a vibrant Mexican-American community, we see firsthand the richness of culture, imagination, and heart that defines our city — and we know that our kids deserve every opportunity to shape the future, not just be shaped by it.
Emerging technologies like AI are changing the world around us, and we believe it's our responsibility to prepare our young people to use these tools with creativity, accountability, and a deep sense of purpose.
Our camp was built to empower El Paso’s kids to not just understand technology, but to lead with it — to imagine new possibilities, to innovate with empathy, and to carry forward the values of community, respect, and service that define who we are.
